Liane Jeffries
Principal, Owner and Teacher (ISTD FDI; Acrobatic Arts AAC1; Aerial Silks)
Liane started dancing at the age of two and a half in Weymouth. Whilst there, Liane performed in many bi-annual shows, as well as the Spillers pantomimes, all of which were held at the Pavilion.
At the age of 13, Liane started helping with the younger children at Portland Dance School (now known as Platinum Dance School), as well as in Weymouth.
In 2006, Liane started her FDI teacher training in ISTD Tap and Modern at Stage Door in Bournemouth. Liane completed her ISTD FDI in 2010.
In 2016, Liane attended an Acrobatics Arts Module 1 training course and qualified, achieving a 100% pass in the written exam and a pass in the practical exam. Liane is now qualified to teach Primary to Level 6 Acrobatic Arts.
In February 2017 she attended the Acrobatic Arts Aerial and Back Handspring training course.
During Liane’s teaching career she has taught all grades of ISTD Tap and Modern as well as Jazz, Hip-Hop, Street Dance, Strength & Flex, Boys and Adults. Liane also choreographs dances for festivals and auditions. Liane teaches all classes in the Hampshire area, as well as teaching class assistant classes in both Dorset and Hampshire.
Liane keeps up to date with her paediatric first aid qualification. She also has an up to date enhanced DBS as well as Public Liability Insurance.
In 2023, Liane undertook her Level 2 and 3 Personal Trainer qualification and is now fully qualified. She has already worked and helped multiple clients with their personal fitness and weight loss goals.
Liane has now also qualified as an aerial silks instructor and is delighted to bring these new classes to the Hampshire timetable.
