Liane Jeffries (ISTD FDI; AAC1) - Principal, Owner and Teacher Liane   started   dancing   at   the   age   of   two   and   a   half   in   Weymouth.      Whilst   there, Liane   performed   in   many   bi-annual   shows,   as   well   as   the   Spillers   pantomimes, all of which were held at the Pavilion. At   the   age   of   13,   Liane   started   helping   with   the   younger   children   at   Portland Dance    School    (now    known    as    Platinum    Dance    School),    as    well    as    in Weymouth. In   2006,   Liane   started   her   FDI   teacher   training   in   ISTD   Tap   and   Modern   at Stage   Door   in   Bournemouth.      Liane   has   now   completed   her   FDI   and   is   very close   to   completing   her   DDE   and   moving   on   towards   her   Associate.      Once completed,   Liane   hopes   to   continue   to   train   so   that   she   can   teach   future dance teachers. In   2016,   Liane   attended   an   Acrobatics   Arts   Module   1   training   course   and qualified,   achieving   a   100%   pass   in   the   written   exam   and   a   pass   in   the   practical exam.   Liane   is   now   qualified   to   teach   Primary   to   Level   6   Acrobatic   Arts.   In February   2017   she   attended   the   Acrobatic   Arts   Aerial   and   Back   Handspring   training course. She will attend the Module 2 training course later this year/early next year. During   Liane's   teaching   career   she   has   taught   all   grades   of   ISTD   Tap   and   Modern   as   well   as   Jazz,   Hip-Hop, Street   Dance,   Strength   &   Flex,   Boys   and   Adults.      Liane   also   choreographs   dances   for   festivals   and   auditions. Liane is a member of the ISTD and is able to enter students for ISTD Tap and Modern exams.

Tegan Jeffries (ISTD DDI; AAC1) - Teacher
Tegan   started   dancing   at   the   age   of   2   and   a   half   in   Weymouth   but   moved   to   Platinum in   2010.      She   dances   all   genres   of   dance   and   has   performed   as   a   dancer   in   several Spillers   Pantomimes   at   Weymouth   Pavilion   as   well   as   many   dance   shows.      Tegan has now taken on the role of Teacher and choreographer for Stamina Performers. In   2017,   Tegan   successfully   passed   her   ISTD   DDI   (Diploma   in   Dance   Instruction)   in Modern    and    Tap.    Tegan    continues    her    training    at    Stage    Door    College    in Bournemouth   with   two   top   ISTD   examiners,   working   towards   her   DDE   (Diploma   in Dance   Education),   not   only   furthering   her   qualifications   but   also   her   own   personal development. Tegan   has   also   recently   qualified   with   paediatric   first   aid   training   qualification   and   also has an up to date enhanced CRB and Public Liability Insurance. In   February   2016,   Tegan   attended   an   Acrobatics   Arts   Module   1   training   course   and   qualified,   achieving   a 100%   pass   in   the   written   exam   and   a   pass   in   the   practical   exam.   Tegan   is   now   qualified   to   teach   Primary to   Level   6   Acrobatic   Arts.   In   February   2017   she   attended   the   Acrobatic   Arts   Aerial   and   Back   Handspring training course. Charlotte Richards - Teacher Charlotte   trained   in   drama   and   speech   with   Pat   Oddy   in   Weymouth   achieving   the   LAMDA   bronze medal.      Charlotte   also   has   a   Diploma   in   Drama and   Theatre   Studies   at   A   Level.      She   has   been   a keen   member   of   amateur   dramatics   and   before joining    Platinum,    Charlotte    sung    in    a    swing double   act   performing   in   clubs   and   pubs   around Dorset   and   was   a   member   of   the   Quangle   Wange choir.  In   the   lat   year,   Charlotte   has   starting   teaching singing,    drama    and    performing    with    Platinum    Dance    School.      Charlotte   loves   teaching,   she   said   ‘it   is   a   real   pleasure   and   privilege to be involved with Platinum and to teach such talented kids’ .

Holly Byatt ISTD Tap Associate, DDI Modern   From   a   young   age   Holly   studied   dance   at   Horndean   and   Southsea School    of    Dance,    where    she    completed    Tap,    Modern    and    Ballet examinations   from   Pre-Primary   -   Advanced   2   within   the   ISTD   and RAD syllabus. After   completing   BTEC   in   Performing   Arts   at   South   Downs   College   in 1997,   Holly   went   on   to   successfully   perform   around   the   UK   and Europe.      Upon   her   return   she   was   invited   to   teach   Dance   in   a summer   camp   in   South   Carolina,   USA,   where   she   ran   the   Dance Department,   teaching   and   assessing   children   of   various   ages   and abilities a variety of different dance genres In   2004   Holly   passed   her   ISTD   Tap   Associate   with   Paddy   Hurlings   in Portsmouth,   followed   by   her   Modern   DDI   and   will   finish   the   final   part of her DDE in 2017. Holly's   favourite   past   time   was   being   on   stage   and   this   carried   on through    later    years,    partaking    in    dance    performances    alongside variety   performance   and   musicals   such   as   Guys   and   Dolls,   Chicago and   Le   Cage   au   Faus   to   name   a   few,   with   the   aim   to   one   day   return - before she is too old!
Naomi Jones Naomi   has   dance   since   the   age   of   9   and   has always   wanted   to   teach?      She   holds   DDI   in ISTD     Modern     Theatre     and     Tap     and     am currently   studying   at   Roynon   Dance   Centre   for my    DDE's.        I    am    also    studying    my    DDI Imperial   Classical   Ballet.         I   am   very   pleased to    have    the    opportunity    to    work    with    the lovely   student's   at   Platinum   Dance   School   on Hayling Island
